So excited to reveal my cocktail for the second round of the Black Restaurant Week virtual cocktail competition sponsored by Maker’s Mark! The theme this time is Herb n’ Flow and we were tasked with creating a cocktail with a fresh herb that was inspired by our favorite song. My cocktail – Ungodly Hour – is inspired by Chloe x Halle’s title track: Ungodly Hour. In addition to Maker’s Mark bourbon, our Ungodly Hour uses a homemade pear sage syrup.

If you had to, how would you describe the perfect date? For our cocktail submission to the Gentleman Jack Whiskey Sour Classic, we decided to have a little fun. We made a homemade date syrup and added in a few crumbles of Gorgonzola cheese. Yes, you read that right — cheese!

Roses are red. Strawberries are too. Our rosé whiskey sour was made just for you.

Both spicy and sweet, those other sours can’t compete.

Kentucky bourbon, honey and grapefruit (the official fruit of Texas) come together for the most refreshing whiskey drink yet.

Who doesn’t love the classics? Both balanced and incredibly smooth, our classic sour is the perfect sipper for National Whiskey Sour Day.
